There is way more that I need to say than there is room, but here's some of it: our 2012 GMC Acadia Denali has been "worked on" 8 different times & still isn't fixed, all because we ran over a deer coming home to VA from NC in November, 2018. We had NO problems driving about 300 miles home, but after looking under the vehicle the next day, my husband noticed that the gas tank was bent, as well as the braces that held the gas tank up and the little rubber pieces on it. Our insurance said they would pay for it to be fixed, but after we picked it up from being "fixed," we immediately noticed that 1. The gas hand was going down (toward empty) when we were putting gas in it, 2. The Range to Empty monitor was going up & down & up & down (while we were getting gas), and 3. The vehicle was now "shaking" so bad that we thought it would stop in the middle of the road. The body shop guy said that it was probably the float in the new gas tank that needed to get adjusted. So he told us to drive it over the weekend and to let him know if it didn't get any better. Fast forward to February, 2019 - the vehicle has been back to the body shop, to "fix" the mentioned items in #1,2 & 3, and to the service dept., because the body shop "couldn't find the problem." We've paid over $850.00 & our insurance has been billed EVERY time - haven't even added up what that total is, AND the vehicle IS NOT FIXED. We have never had one problem with this vehicle. Not even the gas light has ever been on. I've been a custom Hart Motors since 2004, when I bought the GMC Envoy & haven't been to another dealership since 2004 - trading vehicles every 3-4 years. In March 2012, my husband bought the GMC Sierra & I bought the 2012 GMC Acadia Denali - Within the same week. I LOVED my Denali - until now. Because of the problems that we've had since November, my Denali doesn't feel or drive like the luxury vehicle that I paid for anymore. And it's not because of me "wearing" it down or not taking care of it. I had planned on keeping this vehicle for as long as I could, because I loved it that much & I've gone to other dealerships to test drive new vehicles & they really didn't compare, to me, to my Denali. I'm a little, no very disappointed because I feel like it doesn't matter that I've been a good customer for the past 15 years, and now my husband for the last 7 years, but yet one of our vehicles has had the same problems for almost three months now. But I guess because they gave us a loaner car to use the last two times, that makes up for everything that we've gone through concerning this. I'm not even going to go into the problems that my husband has had with service concerning his truck. I feel like my vehicle has been used as a "guinea pig" in all this "fixing" because we're in the same place that we were in November, when we first started this. And nobody is out anything except us and our insurance.

Had an appointment for 0930. When I arrived at 0925 there were at least 6 cars waiting outside. Very pleasant check in experience. Waited 1hr and 45minutes to get my car. I feel having had a scheduled appointment that wait time was to long for oil change and inspection
The whole service experience was good except it took over 3 weeks to get the service appointment. That seemed a little long to wait for a warranty oil change, tire rotation & checkup. I was expecting a week possibly from call to appointment.
We bought our 2015 Equinox on 4/22/2017 from Hart Motors in Salem, Va. We had begun dealing with Hart in 2004 and were pleased with them up until Friday, January 25th. The Equinox broke down off interstate on Tuesday, January 22nd. Without any warning, no light on showing problems or any other sign at all, oil blew out of the exhaust up on the back window. The engine is gone. We had it towed to Hart and they called saying the engine was gone. My husband called the salesman who has helped us over the years and talked to him about the situation. I emailed and asked if they would give any :Goodwill payment" as help. Nothing, and they wouldn't even waive the 100.00 logistics test done on it. We were made a unreal offer of them giving us 2000 if we traded it on an vehicle with them. (The car had gone over around 10,000 miles over the warranty). We thought we could trust this dealership for some help since we have bought three vehicles from them over the last 14 years. I have always given their name out to people for vehicle help. I have been in the retail world 41 years and I consider this very bad service and word of mouth does hurt when I will no longer give any good review about Hart Motor Co.
