Take Off the Flat Tire Grip the tire firmly, and carefully pull it towards you. When it's completely free of the lug bolts, place it safely on the ground nearby. 6. Install the Spare Tire Line the new tire up with the lug bolts, and slide it into place. Make sure the lug bolts are showing through. 7. Partially Tighten the Lug Nuts Begin to tighten the lug nuts using your hand alone. Don't tighten them fully at this stage as this might misalign the wheel. 8. Lower the Car and Further Tighten the Lug Nuts Gently lower the car until the wheel is only just touching the ground but not all the way. Then tighten the lug nuts in an incremental way, giving each nut one turn of the wrench before moving on to the next one. This method helps to keep the wheel even. Keep going until they're almost fully tightened. 9. Fully Lower the Car Lower the car fully to the ground and stow the jack. You can now use the wrench to complete tightening the lug nuts. 10. Put the Hubcap Back On Replace the hubcap. Remove the wheel wedges if you used them, and your new wheel should now be good to go. Below are ways to tell when your car needs a radiator repair from the certified technicians at your GMC dealer. more You Get a High-Temperature Reading The job of your radiator is to keep everything cool under the hood and prevent your car's engine from overheating. When there's a problem with the radiator, you'll get a high-temperature gauge reading. When it's hot outside, your air conditioner is running, and your car's temperature gauge reading is higher than usual, it's normal. If the temperature stays consistently high, get it checked out by a certified GMC technician as soon as possible. This process also produces water, and this water needs to be removed from your car. Your AC's evaporator coil produces much of this water, and it collects in the evaporator heater box. A rubber drain pipe runs from this box to the outside of your car, and it's used to drain the water. This hose can become blocked by bacteria growth over the long winter months. This blockage will prevent water from draining out of your car. The water level in the heater box will increase and eventually overflow and drip on the passenger side floor. These two components are responsible for changing the refrigerant that cools the air between gas and liquid states. The condenser turns refrigerant gas into a liquid and removes the heat in the process. The compressor condenses the liquid back into a gas for cooling the air. If either of these components fails, your AC won't produce cold air. A third possible problem is you have a refrigerant leak which is preventing the air from chilling.
