Tough Enough for Any Job

To hold up under pressure, the GMC Sierra 1500 features a roll-formed high-strength steel bed floor, and certain trim levels feature a spray-on bedliner. This bed is able to support up to 2,200 pounds!
And using the truck bed is easier than ever before. You can open the primary gate from either the key fob, located inside the truck or via a button on the gate. The primary gate features a load top, which keeps longer items from sliding out when the gate is open. And for easier access, you can fold the inner gate down, and then use the integrated full-width step to hop up into the bed.
Next-Level Trailering
Of course, sometimes you need to bring more with you than can fit in the truck bed alone. Because of this, GMC designed the 2022 Sierra 1500 to be able to haul nearly anything you could ever need behind it. Able to pull up to 13,000 pounds, the Sierra 1500 allows you to tow a boat to the lake, a camper on the next cross-country road trip, or maybe even a mobile home!
The technology featured in the GMC Sierra 1500 makes trailering a breeze – nothing like the stressful task many imagine it as. The smart trailer integration lets you make adjustments to the trailering system right from your smartphone, and the in-vehicle trailering app lets you create up to five profiles for different trailer characteristics. And with 15 cameras, you’ll be able to see every part of your trailer while going down the road.
Distinct Trim Levels
