Lydia’s Italian Kitchen
Lydia’s isn’t one of the oldest restaurants in town, but it makes some of the tastiest pizza around. There are 11 basic pizzas available in 16″. If you’d like something more personal, you can build your pizza in 10″ or 16″. Once you’ve chosen the size, it’s time to select the ingredients to create your very own pizza masterpiece.
Our favorite is the Tuscan pizza with artichokes, black olives, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. It’s also a perfect choice for our vegetarian friends. Pappas Pizza
Pappa’s has a causal, friendly ambiance and some of the best pizzas in town. The cafe-style layout gives you a feeling of being in a New York pizzeria. When you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly smile and good service that prepares you for the pizza experience to come.
They have fifteen signature pizzas and a choice of sizes of 10″, 14″, and 16″. You can also choose gluten-free as an option, and your pizza will be prepared exactly as you want it. We like the supreme pizza with pepperoni, ham, sausage, onion, mushrooms, olives, and green peppers. Pappas can be found at 1951 Electric Road.
Frank’s Pizza
Frank’s is a relatively new addition to pizza joints in Salem, as they opened in 2008. Since then, they’ve been providing the community with amazing pizza and earning many loyal fans in the process. They’ve been nominated numerous times for their pizza. Their menu is comprised of fourteen main pizzas in a choice of four sizes.
We love their hot honey pepperoni, made with a white base, goat cheese, caramelized onion, spicy pepperoni, hot honey, and topped with loads of fresh mozzarella. Frank’s is located at 14 E Main Street.
