Pro
Available in all cab and box styles and 4×2 and 4×4 drive types, the base trim of the 2024 Sierra 2500 HD brings plenty of muscle in the form of a 401-horsepower 6.6-liter V8 gas engine that delivers 464 lb-ft of torque. This model comes standard with the trailering package that includes everything needed to connect a trailer to the truck safely.
SLE
Like the Pro trim, the SLE model is offered in all cab and box styles with 4×2 or 4×4 drive types. It comes with the same standard engine and can be had with the same engine upgrades as the base trim. However, it comes with more standard features, such as the GMC MultiPro Tailgate. This six-function tailgate enhances access to the cargo area and helps with loading and unloading. It also features hitch area lighting.
SLT
Designed for effortless trailering, the SLT trim comes standard with power-adjustable and auto-dimming vertical trailering side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Another standard highlight is the in-vehicle trailering app with trailer security alerts, maintenance reminders, electrical diagnostics, and trailer tire pressure monitoring.
AT4
Offered exclusively with a 4×4 drivetrain, the AT4 trim comes with most of SLT’s standard features. Exclusive optional highlights include the AT4 Preferred and AT4 Premium Plus packages. The AT4 Preferred includes LED roof marker lamps, a universal home remote, and adaptive cruise control. The AT Premium Plus has all the Preferred features plus a power sunroof, a high clearance step, and GMC’s technology package.
AT4X
Like the AT4, the AT4X is designed for off-road performance and comes exclusively in a 4×4 configuration. Highlights include a standard power-retractable step with perimeter lighting and an 18-inch wheel spare. Adaptive cruise control is also standard, alongside a wealth of safety and driver assistance features.
Denali
Next up, the Denali trim comes with standard skid plates and the X31 Off-Road package. The package includes twin-tube Rancho shocks, hill descent control, and off-road suspensions. The Denali Reserve package, including a power sunroof and the technology package, is offered as an exclusive upgrade.
Denali Ultimate
The Denali Ultimate comes standard with a powerful 6.6-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine for 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting and enhanced performance in all driving conditions. Standard trailering features, including the in-vehicle trailering app, pair with a 4×4 drivetrain for added convenience.
